Terms And Conditions
Tuition and Materials:
All lessons are paid for in advance. For example, tuition for March lessons would be paid for on March 1st.
Tuition is due by the first day of the month. A late fee of $15.00 will be charged for tuition not received before the 5th of the month and lessons will be suspended. Tuition cost covers the private lesson time.
Try Drumming reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without providing notice. If Try Drumming terminates lessons, a refund for unused lessons will be given.
Payment is to be made in Cash or Online banking into account 02-0727-0182044-000
Students are responsible for bringing drum sticks for instruction. Tuition does not include the costs for lesson books, materials etc.
Missed Lessons/Make up lessons:
No refunds or credits are given for missed lessons. We do offer make-up lessons (Four per calendar year). Make-up lessons will be scheduled during the designated make-up lesson weeks noted on the lesson calendar. To be eligible for a make-up lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice of the upcoming missed lesson.
If an instructor needs to cancel a lesson, the lesson will be made-up within 30 days. Try Drumming reserves the right to provide a substitute instructor if necessary.
No contract is required to take lessons. Lessons are created on a month-by-month basis, unless you have signed up for a 10 week course. In most cases, chosen time slots cannot be changed. However, we understand that sometimes schedules change, we will try to accommodate a time/day change, but nothing is guaranteed.
Regular attendance and practice is essential if progress is going to be made. Your instructor will recommend a practice regimen. It is recommended to practice the day of and the day following your lessons. As the instructor is reserving time for each student, it is important to keep student absences to a minimum.
Release of Liability:
I agree on behalf of myself, my heirs, assign and minor(s), I release and hold harmless Try Drumming, its owners and operators from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, that may be sustained by the participant and/or the undersigned while taking music lessons. I understand I am responsible for my child up until lesson start time and immediately after lessons end. I understand that there may be times when the instructor will ask for my help/supervision during a lesson. Furthermore, I understand children under 12 years of age must have an adult/guardian present during music lessons.
