1 - Tuition fees
a. All lessons are paid for in full, month by month and in advance. For example, tuition for March lessons would be paid for on the first week of March.
b. Tuition fees are due by the 8th of each month. There may be a late fee if this is not followed.
c. Payment arrangements are available. Please contact to arrange and confirm this.
2 – Scheduled Lessons
a. Lesson commitments are on a month-by-month basis. There must be one month notice when canceling lessons.
b. Lessons will continue throughout the school holidays. However, there will be a 2 week break over the Christmas and New Year period.
b. No refunds are given for missed lessons where no contact is made.
c. Try Drumming does offer make-up lessons (Three per calendar year). Make-up lessons will be scheduled at the discretion of the tutor or during the designated make-up lesson weeks noted on the lesson calendar. (To be eligible for a make-up lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours’ notice of the upcoming missed lesson/or have a medical reason).
d. In the unlikely event that a tutor is unable to conduct lessons they will be made-up within 30 days.
3 - Attendance/Practice
a. Regular attendance and practice is essential. For best results it is recommended that the student practice very regularly. This is best to be spread out during the week.
b. Your tutor will recommend a practice routine and which will be monitored regularly.
4 - Materials
a. Students should bring their own drum sticks and any learning material (provided by tutor) to lessons.
b. It is a minimum requirement that students own a practice pad, drum Sticks and a smart device to listen to music & metronome.
c. It is recommended that students have a drum-kit at home. However, for beginners, only buy a kit after 2-3 months of starting lessons.
5 - Privacy Policy
a. Any information collected from clients and or person expressing interest will be kept private.
b. Photography is allowed during sessions only by authorised persons.
c. We may request that students partake in the creation of content for social media such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. This will only be done with permission from parents and or other authorised persons.
